E-waste Management

As a technology provider to thousands of institutions, Navarasa Services LLP. recognises its responsibility to manage electronic waste (e-waste) generated by our own operations — servers, demo devices, networking equipment and office IT — in an environmentally sound manner.

Our e-waste practices are aligned with the principles of India's E-Waste (Management) Rules, including extended producer responsibility, safe storage, and channelling end-of-life equipment only to authorised recyclers and dismantlers.

Where ALMA ERP supplies hardware (such as biometric attendance devices) to institutions, we take responsibility for that equipment at end-of-life — offering collection points and take-back programs rather than leaving disposal to the institution alone.

• Institutions can request a pickup for retired ALMA ERP-supplied hardware through support.
• Collected devices are logged, data-wiped, and routed to authorised recyclers.
• No e-waste from our operations is sent to informal or unauthorised recycling channels.

We work only with e-waste recyclers and dismantlers authorised by the relevant State Pollution Control Board, ensuring hazardous components are processed safely and recoverable materials are reused responsibly.

Hardware sourced for ALMA ERP deployments is selected with preference for RoHS-compliant components, limiting the use of hazardous substances such as lead, mercury and cadmium wherever commercially viable.

Institutions disposing of their own IT hardware (laptops, tablets, routers) used to access ALMA ERP are encouraged to use authorised e-waste collection centres in their area rather than general waste disposal.
